요즘 영어 시험 준비 중이신가요? 많은 분들이 듀오링고를 가볍게 생각하시는데요, 이제는 그 이미지를 슬슬 바꿔야 할 때가 온 것 같아요. 예전에는 쉽고 빠르게 준비할 수 있는 시험 정도로 여겨졌지만, 최근 변화들을 보면 토플(TOEFL)이나 아이엘츠(IELTS)와 비교해도 손색없을 정도로 난이도가 높아졌습니다. 변별력이 상당히 생긴 시험이 되고 있죠..
최근 듀오링고 준비하는 학생들을 보면 fill in the blanks 문제만 푸는 걸 봐도 대략 점수가 어느 정도인지 판단될 정도입니다.
그래서 오늘은 Fill in the blanks 문제를 좀 풀어볼까 합니다. <빈칸 채우기> 문제는 단순히 단어를 아느냐 모르느냐의 문제에 국한되지 않고 한 문장에서 연결고리를 찾을 수 있느냐 없느냐 어느 정도 고차원적인 문제입니다. 즉, 많은 단어를 아는 것도 기본이지만, 문장 속에서 빈칸 단어의 힌트를 찾아서 답을 하는 연습은 듀오링고 점수에 매우 중요합니다.
